Bookings

 

All bookings are final upon receipt of payment. If there is a problem with your booking which needs to be amended, please contact the studio directly.

 

All sessions must be paid in full before entry to the requested room.

 

All bookings are taken on a “first come, first served” basis. If you plan on using the studio regularly, please plan ahead and book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

 

You can load in to your booked room no more than 15 minutes before your booked session, and load out must be complete within 15 minutes from the end of your session. Exceeding this “grace period” will result in a 1-hour additional charge, invoiced to the email address used to make to original booking. 

 

Cancellations

 

If you need to cancel your booking with us, you can do so at any time by contacting the studio directly.

If cancelling at least 24 hours before your booked session, you will be refunded the FULL AMOUNT of your original booking. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in your bank account.

Short-notice cancellations within 24 hours of your booked session are NON-REFUNDABLE; this is to cover business losses.

Re-arranging Bookings

If you need to re-arrange your booking to an earlier or later date, please let us know more than 24-hours in advance of your pre-booked session. You will not be charged to re-arrange your booking if the notice period is more than 24 hours of your original booking.

Please note, we are unable to re-arrange your booking within 24 hours of your original booking, and any request to do so will be treated as a short notice cancellation, and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Failure to show up to your booking without notice 

If you fail to show up on the the day of your booking, you will NOT be refunded: this is to cover business losses.

Parking

 

Parking at the studio is limited, and is first come, first served. Please be considerate of others and car-share where possible. Parking is done so at your own risk, and Emperor Studios is not liable for any loss or damage to any vehicle parked at the property.

 

Storage Service

 

Emperor Studios offers an equipment storage service for regular customers. This can be paid for either up front in advance, or on 4-weekly rolling contract basis. Equipment is STORED AT THE OWNERS RISK, and although we strive to be a well secured facility, it is advisable not to store sentimental, one of a kind and rare items at the studio, as these may prove very difficult to replace in the unlikely event of a security breach. Emperor Studios will not be liable for any loss or damage to items while in our storage facility.

 

Equipment

 

All rooms come with a PA system, microphones, microphone stands, and audio cables inclusive of the final booking price. If the quantity of basic equipment provided is not enough for your needs, more can be requested, subject to availability. Any other equipment must be hired separately at additional cost.

 

All basic and requested equipment will be set up ready in the room before you arrive. Customers are not permitted to go about the studio or enter other rooms looking for extra equipment, please ask a member of staff if you need anything and we will happy to assist you.

 

All studio equipment is tested daily and will be supplied in a satisfactory working order. If anything is found to be broken or not working, please report this to a member of staff.

 

Any studio equipment that breaks due to general wear an tear must be reported to the studio staff. 

 

Equipment found to be broken as a result of customer misuse, will result in the necessary repair/replacement cost invoiced to the customer. 

 

Any additional equipment hired from the studio must be left in the same condition provided to you. You will be charge for anything that goes missing, and anything that gets broken as a result of mistreatment or misuse.

 

Emperor studios assumes no liability for loss, damage and wear & tear to personal equipment, and such items are brought into the studio and used at your own risk.

Smoking, Vaping, Alcohol and Drugs

 

Smoking is not permitted inside the building, in accordance with UK law. Please smoke outside.

 

There is a wall mounted ashtray on the outside of the building on the right hand side of the main entrance. This is for cigarettes only. Please do not use the letterbox on the opposite side of the door as an ashtray, this poses a potential fire risk!

 

Vaping is also not permitted in the building, as doing so will set off the fire alarm.

 

We don not sell alcohol on the premises. Consumption of beers, ales and lagers purchased off the premises is allowed, however we must limit this to no more than a 4-pack per person. Consumption of wines and spirits is not allowed.

 

Illegal drug use is not permitted inside or outside the building in accordance with UK law. 

Please be considerate of others and do not bring these illegal substances into the building, as some have an unpleasant lingering smell which may upset some customers, and impact our business!

 

Anyone found to be intoxicated as a result of alcohol or drug abuse, will be asked to leave the premises, and no refund will be given.

 

Disorderly Behaviour

 

Any violence or disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated, and any such behaviour towards both staff and customers will result in the police being called, and potential barring from the premises.
